Innocent until proven guilty

  Let’s remove Padre Crews from the Tar and Feather Express. The last I heard, we are innocent until proven guilty. From what I read, a friend of somebody said he was told by his friend of misconduct by Padre Crews but the alleged abusee never mentioned it to anybody else.

  The police were called in on the matter and no charges were filed. All of this happened in the early 1970s and as of this date no other matters of this nature have arisen. I’m no psychologist, but I know that deviant behavior of this nature does not stop at one but keeps going until they get busted. Please keep in mind the Sassarini School incident with the janitor.

  The Padre Crews that I know was always protective of the boys of Hanna. Ask any of the boys there and they’ll tell you the same thing.

  Padre, I will miss you and your work ethic.
