Homemade wines sought for competition

 

The Sonoma Home Winemakers are again seeking submission for its annual home winemaking competition. Entries will be accepted between Feb. 9 and March 9 at the Valley Wine Shack, 525 W. Napa St.

  All entrants will receive written feedback from the panel of professional judges. Entry forms can be found online at sonomahomewine.com or at the Wine Shack.

  The cost to enter a bottle is $10. All participants must make wines at home, be age 21 or older and must have a label with the exhibitor’s name or winery name and wine varietal.

  Results will be announced at the gala awards banquet dinner on Thursday, April 18, at Vintage House senior center in Sonoma.

The cost to attend the dinner is $30.
