High school welcomes new art teacher

Sonoma Valley High School welcomed a new art teacher, Aaron Anderson, before winter break. Anderson is taking over four sections of Art 1 classes that includes students from every grade. Before coming to Sonoma, Anderson was a substitute teacher at Healdsburg High School and in the Santa Rosa city schools. Anderson has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts (sculpture and glasswork) from the California College of Arts & Crafts in Oakland and a master’s degree in the art of teaching from Lewis & Clark University in Portland, Ore.
