SONOMA VALLEY HIGH School’s 2013 Dragon Hall of Fame takes place on Saturday, May 11, on Hanna Boys Center’s Arnold Drive campus, and tickets for the annual event are currently on sale. To order tickets, mail a check – indicating how many of each type of ticket requested – with a self-addressed stamped envelope to Dragon Hall of Fame, P.O. Box 1524, Sonoma, CA 95476. SONOMA VALLEY YOUTH Soccer Association will begin walk-in registration sessions for the 2013 season from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, at Sassarini Elementary School, with a “coaches’ kick around” taking place from 10 a.m. to noon this Sunday, March 24, at Hanna Boys Center. On Saturday and Sunday, April 6 and 7, the SVYSA will hold a series of free soccer clinics for all Valley youth at Hanna Boys Center – 9 to 10:15 a.m. for under-10-year-old boys and girls; 10:30 a.m. to noon for under-12-year-olds; and 12:30 to 2 p.m. for under-14s.

SONOMA RACEWAY’S POPULAR “Drag and Drift” program, including both the Wednesday Night Drags and drifting, has begun and will be held every Wednesday evening through Nov. 13. BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS Sonoma Valley will hold two sign-up sessions for girls’ volleyball in grades three through eight at the Maxwell Clubhouse from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, March 23 and April 6. SONOMA VALLEY HIGH School senior baseball players Jonah Son and Brennan Cole have combined their senior project efforts into a one-day home run derby event for all ages taking place on Saturday, March 30, at Arnold Field.
