Gary Bernard Gammal
Gary Bernard Gammal died peacefully at home in Sonoma, Feb. 13, 2013, following a brief illness, surrounded by his devoted family. He was 84. He was a resident of Sonoma for the past 25 years.
He was born in Brighton, Mass., on Dec. 14, 1928, to Nicholas and Ranzy Gammal. Gary graduated from Boston College and Georgetown University. He had a career in international marketing that took him all over the world. He lived in Geneva, Switzerland with his family for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Heidy; his son, Adrian Gammal and wife, Jacqueline Gammal; his daughter, Christiane Stuart and husband, Robin Stuart; his grandsons, Alec and Evan Stuart; and his brother, Vincent Gammal. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gabrielle Andree; and his brother Nicky Gammal. He will also be missed by Heidy’s family in Switzerland and by his many friends.
His great hobbies were flying sail planes, skiing and traveling.
His family wishes to thank Hospice By The Bay for their wonderful care.

A memorial Mass will be said at St. Francis Solano Catholic Church on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 10:30 am. Family and friends are welcome.
