Frances Gori

 Frances Gori, a fourth-generation San Franciscan and longtime resident of Oakmont, died after a long illness Jan. 26, 2013. She was 90 years old.

  Born Frances Gatto in San Francisco in 1922, she was a graduate of Galileo High School, class of 1940. She married her husband of nearly 65 years, Albert Gori, in 1948. Albert was a lieutenant in the San Francisco Fire Department for 30 years. He retired in 1975. She and her husband were active parishioners of Star of the Valley parish in Oakmont.

  She is survived by her husband, Albert; daughter, Kathy Gori Berger; and son-in-law, Alan Berger; son-in-law, Michael Hawk; grandson, Benjamin and Jennifer Meister; great-granddaughters, Alexis Quinn, Devon and Maci Hawk, of Santa Rosa; and grandson, David and Julie Hawk, of Santa Rosa.

  Frances was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Hawk of Rohnert Park.

  A funeral Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Star of the Valley Church, 545 White Oak Dr., Oakmont, Santa Rosa 95409.

  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Memorial Hospice of Santa Rosa.
