Five Sonoma girls honored as SCL all-league hoops selections

Romano, Albrecht, Swanson 1st-teamers

For their standout team contributions and productive Sonoma County League play, five members of Sonoma Valley High School varsity girls’ basketball team were recently elevated to all-league status.

Topping the honored Lady Dragons as SCL all-league first-team selections were school record-setting three-point shooting senior Ali Romano, and talented, all-around front-court playing sophomores Mackenzie Albrecht and Delaney Swanson.

Earning SCL all-league honorable mention for the Sonoma girls were senior team-captain and point guard Kendall Ashe, and up-tempo, hard-playing junior Giana Monterosso.
