Docents needed for Overlook Trail hikes

  Hey hikers, teachers and learners out there. Is this a great town or what? We’ve got spring around the corner and the beautiful Sonoma Overlook Trail in our back yard. The Sonoma Overlook Trail Stewards need docents to lead groups of kids or adults. Come join us in our four-class training program, Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon. The program begins this coming Tuesday, Feb. 5, from 9 to noon, and continues for three more Tuesday mornings (Feb. 12, 19, 26), during which specialists in the fields of ecology, geology, flora/fauna and local history will give lectures and then lead targeted hikes on the trail.

  You then share your new-found knowledge with groups of adults and children on the trail. Come on, get some fresh air and new ideas.
