Cheese, anyone?

Feb 25, 2013 - 07:36 PM
Lovers of gouda, cheddar, jack and all other cheeses congregated at MacArthur Place on Sunday afternoon to officially launch the 10th annual Sonoma Valley Cheese Conference. Attendees could sample myriad cheese, made from goat, sheep or cow’s milk, along with a variety of beers and local wines. Some of the day’s attraction included a cheese-rolling contest and a “Mac ‘n’ Cheese Showdown,” which Valley newbie Restaurant Rudy won. The conference, hosted by the Epicurean Connection, continues throughout the week with workshops and other activities for cheese professionals. Get the details at theepicureanconnection.com.
