Boosters Crab Feed moves to the Moose Lodge
The Sonoma Valley High School Boosters Club returns with its wildly popular “Down and Dirty Crab Feed” on Friday, Feb. 1, at the Sonoma Valley Moose Lodge, 20580 Broadway, Sonoma.
The night begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails, followed by a full fresh cracked crab feast including Caesar salad and dessert from 7 to 8:30 p.m. From 8:30 p.m. to midnight, attendees get rock out to the music of the Scallywags.
There will also be a raffle for a wide variety of prizes. Raffle tickets cost $10 each or three for $20.
Event tickets are $45 or $10 for “dance only” tickets for after admittance after 8:30 p.m. For tickets, go to sonomavalleyhigh.org/boostersdept or call Veronica Brooks at 235-4150. Only 250 tickets will be sold, and advance purchase is highly recommended.
Every year the SVHS Boosters Club raises money to help the high school fund all extra-curricular programs such as sports, music, drama, newspaper, forensics, video productions, film club, leadership, agriculture, dance, literary minds magazines and more.
This year, the club has pledged to raise $200,000 to fill the shortfall in the high school’s budget for extra-curricular programs.
The SVHS Boosters Club is a nonprofit, all volunteer organization.
