Bicyclist injured in Trinity wreck
A Santa Rosa bicyclist suffered major injuries Saturday afternoon after colliding with a vehicle while riding down Trinity Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Tristan Humble, 25, was riding down Trinity at about 3:45 p.m. and crossed over a double-yellow line and collided head on into a vehicle driven by Nicholas Mahoney of Davis. The accident occurred two-tenths of a mile west of Cavedale Road.
Humble suffered what were described as major injuries and was airlifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital by Reach Air Ambulance helicopter.
