Betty Louise Boltz Price
Betty Louise Boltz Price died Jan. 15, 2013, at home in Sonoma. She was born March 1, 1931, in San Francisco to the late Theodore “Teddy” and Hertha Boltz, originally from Germany.
Betty was the loving wife of the late Ross “Bud” Price for 58 years; the cherished mother of Dan (Sue), of Pacifica; Wendy Pippin, of San Mateo; Joey, of Eldridge; Ross (Julie), of San Mateo; Andrew, of El Verano; and the late Theodore “Charlie” of San Bruno. She was the proud grandmother of five grandsons, two granddaughters and four great-grandsons. She is also survived by brother-in-law, Charles Price, of Bay Point; many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Betty was raised in Bernal Heights and graduated from Mission High School in 1949. She loved her San Francisco Giants and enjoyed playing bridge and bingo with her Temelec friends. Betty was a member of the Sonoma Developmental Center Lady’s Auxiliary and Friends of the Library.
Per her request, there were no services. We, the family, would like to thank Hospice By The Bay and the Visiting Angels of Santa Rosa for their wonderful attention and dedication they gave our mother at the end of her life.
Mom, the three simple words don’t fully express how your family and friends feel. Don’t worry about a thing, Mom, we’ll be alright.
