Be Bubbly Bash for City of Hope
Gloria Ferrer Caves and Vineyards will be popping the corks in honor of the nonprofit City of Hope with its Be Bubbly Bash at the winery estate on Saturday, March 9, from 7 to 10 p.m.
The Be Bubbly Bash is a glamorous evening of delicious, innovative food and sparkling wine pairings, as well as a bit of pampering. But most importantly, it’s a special night to honor City of Hope and its commitment to health. The menu includes taste sensations such as grape gazpacho “bursts;” bite-size chicken and waffles with pickled wild blueberry syrup; lamb pastilla bites, seasoned with cinnamon and wild flower honey; mac ‘n’ chesse lollipops; cinnamon and sugar cones of blueberry sorbet; and bite-size roasted grape tart tatin.
Partygoers can sip bubbly and snack on hors d’oeuvres while getting professional make-up tips; snapping pictures in the photo booth; and learning how to pair superfoods such as pomegranates, mushrooms and blueberries, with Gloria Ferrer sparkling and estate wines. Guests will also receive goodie bags that include healthy recipe cards along with other treats.
The Be Bubbly Bash is $20 a person, with proceeds benefiting the Northern California Chapter of City of Hope, one of only 41 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers nationwide and a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. An independent biomedical research, treatment and education institution, the organization is a leader in the fight to conquer cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening diseases.
Space at the Be Bubbly Bash is very limited – tickets can be purchased online at gloriaferrerbebubblybash.eventbrite.com.
