Back Alley Comedy set Saturday
The monthly Back Alley Comedy, hosted by Torio Van Grol, hits Murphy’s Irish Pub this Saturday, March 16, with headliner Myles Weber, who appeared this week on Conan O’Brein’s late night talk show. Two shows are set for Saturday, at 6 and 9 p.m.
Born and raised in Vallejo, Weber discovered stand-up very early in life, winning his fifth grade talent show performing stand-up at just 10 years of age. He has since studied the art of making people laugh. Weber’s first comedy album, “Lighter Than Mayonnaise,” debuted in the top 20 on iTunes. He was runner-up of the Best of the Bay Area Comedy Competition in 2009, and winner of the Bay Area All-Star Comedy Competition in 2012.
Nick Aragon, a regular at the Sacramento and San Francisco Punchlines, will open the night. He has opened for Robin Williams, Dana Carvey and Tony Rock.
Tickets are $20 and the show is only open to those 18 and up.
