Another reason to read the I-T

  The Sonoma Branch AAUW (American Association of University Women) Board would like to commend Lorna Sheridan for her excellent column in the Index-Tribune.

  AAUW is dedicated to fostering education, and Lorna’s column, “Education Roundup,” does just that by sharing the good news about education. She also highlights excellent educational programs that are available right here in Sonoma and research that gives students and parents information relevant to present and future school success.

  Last month in the I-T, editor David Bolling stated, “A newspaper must serve the information and entertainment needs of its community to be relevant and read.” Lorna Sheridan’s “Education Roundup” certainly lives up to this standard.
