Agrees with Marmaduke
Editor, Index-Tribune:
Dawn Marmaduke, I’m with you. I brought my young family to Sonoma when the horses had the right-of-way, ride and tie was a big deal. You could get a parking spot on the Plaza at 6 in the morning for any parade, and so on.
On our first visit to the Plaza we asked ourselves, is this what we want? I called my boss in LA and said, “I quit. We are moving to Sonoma.”
In your letter to the editor, you told no one to “get out of Dodge,” and I agree. I would ask some of the editorial writers to visit where they came from more often, and on their way back, remember why you came here and don’t bring the city back with you.
