A fresh coat

Painters have been sprucing up the interior at St. Francis Solano Catholic Church with a fresh coat of paint. Above, Carlos Gutierrez, right, paints some trim while Jose Calvillo gets some rags for cleanup. Both men work for Steven Kardum Painting. While the painting is being done, Masses are being held in Fr. Roberts Hall, but church officials are hoping the work will be finished in time for Masses this Sunday.
