‘What a Wonderful World’ opens at Jack London

THE OLD WINERY RUINS at Jack London State Historic Park offer a majestic setting for “Broadway Under the Stars.”

The summer season of “Broadway Under the Stars” continues in Jack London State Historic Park with “What a Wonderful World” on Aug. 17, 18, 24, 25 and 26. Doors open at 5 p.m. for pre-show picnicking while the musical revue begins at 8 p.m.

  Attendees can hear music from “My Fair Lady,” “West Side Story” “South Pacific” and a range of other favorite musicals, performed by actors from stages stretching from Broadway to Hollywood who make up the Transcendence Theatre Company.

  This is the company’s third of four shows to be performed this summer in the park.

  For each ticket sold, $5 will be donated to Jack London State Historic Park to help keep the park open for public access.

  Tickets range in price and can be purchased at broadwayjacklondon.com.
