Welcoming the Vietnam Memorial Wall

A full motorcade left Sonoma Raceway on Wednesday afternoon to usher the traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall to the Star of Honor at the Sonoma Veterans Memorial Park. The Index-Tribune joined the convoy in the 25th Infantry Division’s Huey helicopter (more on that adventure in Tuesday’s edition), which left the Sonoma Skypark before heading to the raceway. The event launched the Valley’s Veterans Day celebration.
