Warren O. Stout

Warren O. Stout passed away peacefully on Nov. 9, 2012, at Kaiser Hospital in Santa Rosa, due to complications of a stroke.  He was born Dec. 18, 1946, in Whittier, to Osmyn (Ozzie) and Marjorie Stout (both deceased).

A greater than 40 year resident of Sonoma, local painting contractor and avid gardener, he is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sandra Stout; son Stephen Stout (Holly), of San Francisco; and daughters, Mary, Tribby Leveque (Peter), of Santa Rosa, Katy Stout-Bautista (Victor), of Sausalito and Rachel Wooller (Andrew), of Petaluma; sister, Carol Stout (Philip Dennie), of Sonoma; as well as grandchildren, Benjamin and Cody Leveque, Cadence Stout-Leveque, Aiden Wooller and Emma Bautista.

Warren knew that he lived a blessed life because of the people in his life, friends as well as family.  Due to encouragement from friends, he decided to begin college at the age of 60.  This experience had a profound effect upon him in so many ways; when he receives posthumously his degree in anthropology from Sonoma State University on May 11, 2013, his family and friends wish to specially celebrate his life at that time (details of this event will be printed in the newspaper as the date approaches).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations to the Redwood Empire Food Bank during the upcoming holiday season.
