Sebastiani Theatre has concocted an afternoon of vintage music, mysterious magic and some great laughs featuring Jeff Gilbert’s “Toast of the Town” variety show on Sunday, Nov. 25, at 2 p.m.

The event harkens back to the era of the ’30s and ’40s tunes, featuring the melodious voice of Gilbert, known as “the last Crooner.” Special guests vocalists include Valley residents Dana Land and Sue Albano, singing some classic standards of yesteryear.

The entertaining variety show will showcase the instrumental talents of Peter E. Babcock, the Coney Island Washboard King and the John Simon Trio, including John Simon himself on keyboards, Kendrick Freeman on drums and Tom Shader on bass.

In addition to this showcase of local musical talent, the well-known Magic Man Roger Rhoten and Tobias will perform their mystical feats of magic, rounding out the afternoon’s entertainment offerings.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors (those 62 and up) and children (12 and under).  Call 996-9756 to reserve tickets. VISA and MasterCard are accepted at the Sebastiani Theatre; located at 476 First St. E.
