Variety of winery tours offered

Sonoma Valley Reserve, hosted by the Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers Alliance, offers rare access and wine adventures at a variety of Valley wineries. It is set for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 20 and 21, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

  With the purchase of a ticket, attendees can select a winery experiences to enjoy during the day. Some examples include the “All Access Tour,” which offers access to wineries rarely open to the public; the “Family Winery Tour,” where visitors will meet the families that make some of Sonoma’s most popular wines; the “Sommelier Tour,” where Christopher Sawyer leads a tasting of some of his favorites; along with tours featuring specific varietals such as chardonnay, pinot noir, zinfandel or cabernet sauvignon, among others. Tickets include transportation and a picnic lunch.
