Valley men grid it out

With Christmas Eve Monday’s short sun-lit break in the cold, wet weather of late, a group of approximately 30 Valley men between the ages of 25- and 35-years-old gathered at Sonoma Valley High School’s practice field to compete in their fourth annual “Mudgut Football Game.”

Though there wasn’t as much mud as expected, there was enough to go with the soggy grass to make for some slippery moments, which made each play a fun, sometimes frutrusting, but mostly entertaining experience.
