VALLEY OF THE Moon Trap Club will hold its annual Christmas meat shoot this Sunday, Dec. 16, starting at 9:30 a.m. at the club’s South Burndale Road site, with more than 100 salamis up for grabs, including a bonus Annie Oakley shootoff for a three-pound salami at the end of the event. Five-man squads will compete, with squad sign-ups beginning at 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be available for $8. Eye and ear protection is mandatory. BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS of Sonoma Valley need referees for its basketball leagues for boys and girls in third-through-eighth grades. Experience is preferred, and so are adult refs, but training is available and high school students are welcome to inquire. Referees are paid for each game.
