Tree lighting Saturday

The public is invited to attend Boys & Girls Club’s annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony and open house on Saturday, Dec. 8, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Maxwell Clubhouse.

  The event includes holiday refreshments, Christmas carols, arts and crafts, a climbing wall and more. Maxwell Clubhouse is located in Maxwell Farms Regional Park at 100 Verano Ave., Sonoma.

Nyberg Christmas Trees donated the tree. When you purchase a real Christmas tree at Nybergs on the corner of Eighth Street East and Napa Road, proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club.
