Tim Freeman joins Coldwell Banker in Santa Rosa

Sonoma Valley resident Tim Freeman is now manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Santa Rosa office having recently left his position at Alain Pinel in Sonoma.
A San Francisco native, Freeman started his professional career as a CPA with Deloitte & Touche after graduating from California State University, Hayward. Subsequently he joined the Gap, Inc. as a finance liaison to the production arm of the company. His strong finance background led to his co-founding of a boutique investment banking firm, which primarily worked with tech companies in the early stages of development. At the same time – as part of his introduction to the local market – he bought a 2.5 acre country property in Sonoma County, which he completely renovated with all of the attendant issues that go hand-in- hand with owning country property.
He moved to Chicago in 2003 to begin a career in real estate – his true passion and joined the Coldwell Banker, Lincoln Park office – one of the largest and highest producing Coldwell Banker offices in the country.
After a successful five year career in sales he was promoted to assistant managing broker. There, his primary responsibility was to help the office’s 250 agents adopt technology to further expand their businesses. In 2008, he became Manager of the Coldwell Banker Chicago Gold Coast office – the office with the highest average sales price of all local companies.
In 2010 he moved back to Sonoma County to be closer to family.
A Glen Ellen resident he also hosts a segment about personal finance on the radio show mornings in Sonoma with Ken Brown that airs on FM 91.3 every other Tuesday morning.
