Three papers, one party?

Based on what I know of the individuals involved in this Media Group, I do not believe they are all "one party" affiliated....for example, if you look back at previous Op Ed pieces published in the Index Tribune you will see an Op Ed piece written by Gary Nelson promoting Mitt Romney as President....yea! Too bad Mr. Romney lost now we have four more years of disfunction.

So true Audrey, like our allowing our nation to be attacked on our own soil with over 3,000 Americans dead, starting two wars that he couldn’t finish in Iraq and Afghanistan on borrowed money with over 4,000 American soldiers dead and over 25,000 wounded, giving tax breaks benefiting mostly the rich during a time of war which added another 4 trillion to our debt, and an economic collapse like we haven’t seen since the Great Depression….wait a minute, that was your Republicans under Bush….sorry, my bad.

I meant the dysfunction under Obama when he killed Osama bin Laden, ended Bush’s war in Iraq while getting us of Afghanistan in 2014, where he created Romneycare (sorry, Obamacare, can't tell the difference) covering an additional 30 million Americans with health insurance, bailed out the banks, saved GM, repealed Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, came out for equal civil rights for gay and lesbians, and began the slow process of turning our economy around.

Ummm....here I go again, fact checking. In 1999,Clinton wouldn't authorize an OBL kill. His convoy had clearly been id'd by a Predator drone and OBL was clearly seen exiting the vehicle. The optics were spot on, being beamed back to CIA headquarters. The Clinton admin said there was too little time for the cruise missiles to reach that objective. They were told to let them know where OBL was 5 or 6 hrs from then. They were also denied the use of ground forces, which could have acted more quickly. So, you can blame Clinton on a missed opp to kill OBL. On Sept. 14,2011, the U.S. Congress passed a joint resolution authorizing the use of military force against those responsible for the Sept. 11 attacks. It is not true that all troops will leave Afghanistan in 2014, it will cease to be a combat mission and become a support mission (clever use of words). No end date for the war in Afghanistan. The Pentagon wants to keep 25,000 troops there until at least 2024. Support mission will not be free of combat missions. 70% of U.S. fatalities under the Obama admin. Here is a snapshot of the American economic scene when Democrats took control in January of 2007: U.S. Unemployment rate: 4.7%. 2007 deficit: 160 billion dollars. The Bush tax cuts took in more than 2.5 trillion annually. Today, the govt takes in barely 2 trillion, annual deficits are 10 times larger, surpassing the one-trillion- mark with regularity. Five years ago, the U.S. Annual deficit was 90% lower than it is today. With Obama's election and Democrat control of Congress, the economy steepened and accelerated in its decline. Business leaders feared (with good reason)the coming onslaught of regulations and redistributive fervor of the Obama admin. The Navy Seals killed OBL. Obama canceled the operation to kill OBL 3 times and then waited 16 hours to make the call. They only knew where OBL was due to interrogation tactics used under the Bush admin.
