Theresa Ann Montague

Theresa Ann Montague passed away in Concord on Nov. 6, 2012, at the age of 83.

  Theresa was born on a farm in Hanston, Kan., to Frank and Ida Hoch, on April 11, 1929. She was the youngest of four girls. She and her parents followed her older sisters to California during World War II, settling in Oakland. She graduated from Fremont High School with the class of 1948. In 1951, she married Don Montague. Together they raised their four children in San Leandro. They retired to Sonoma in 1989.

  Theresa is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Don, of Sonoma; her beloved children, Debbie, of Hayward, Jim (Brenda), of Wimauma, Fla., Barb, of Bozeman, Mont., and Linda, of Clayton; cherished granddaughter, Mattie; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Kay, Lois and Fran. She will be greatly missed, but remembered for her love of family.

  Family and friends are invited for a memorial Mass on Monday, Nov. 19, at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Solano Catholic Church, 469 Third St. W., in Sonoma. Following the Mass, family and friends are invited to visit with the family at Pueblo Serena Clubhouse, 951 Fifth St. W., in Sonoma.

  Memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association.
