Thanks to city angels

Very soon after my husband and I arrived in Sonoma, I dubbed Sonoma, the “Vortex of Joy,” and now, one year and three months later, I have come to the conclusion it truly is a city of angels.

When we were faced with giving up our automobile, I truly felt that my gypsy wings had been clipped. However, this gypsy found her feet and in that, through walking all around our amazing town, we both have forged beautiful friendships that otherwise may never have happened.

But now, we want to thank Dino DiGuilio, president of Body Best of Sonoma and founder of Wheels to Prosper, and all of those who participated in the decision-making process for awarding us with our beautiful automobile.

Also, to all those who wrote letters on our behalf, we are truly grateful. And to all of our friends who helped us in getting to those places beyond walking range, thank you.

Beyond receiving an automobile, Scot Andrews of Pacific Rim Auto Repair, Moe at Juma’s Automotive Smog Test Station, Larry Wallace of North Bay Insurance, Dale Cecil of New York Life Insurance Company and Jessica Terwilliger, of Large Leather, all contributed gifts. Thank you for all your profound generosity.

And now, Harry and I intend to pay this forward in whatever ways we feel most driven. The giving just gets better. Thank you Sonoma, city of angels, we love you.
