Susan Gorin advocates for children
Editor, Index-Tribune:
First District candidate Susan Gorin has worked hard to ensure the well-being of children and youth. Her years of service as a Santa Rosa School board member, as the president of CASA (a group that advocates for children involved with the court system), and her work with “Safe Havens for Youth,” have equipped her to advocate for the services of nonprofits and city and county agencies.
She’s worked to expand the regional network of bike lanes and paths used by our children, and she’s served as vice-chair of the Sonoma County Library Foundation and knows the issues facing that public asset.
She would be a strong voice on the county board for public education and for at-risk youth. A vote for her will be a vote for our children whose needs often get lost in the political process. Learn more about her at her Website, susangorin.com.
