While the Native Sons of the Golden West’s annual Surf and Turf dinner and fundraiser doesn’t take place until Jan. 26, the event is always a sell-out, so the service club is getting the word out early to encourage early ticket sales.

This is the ninth year Sonoma’s Parlor #111 of Native Sons of the Golden West have hosted the event, which has raised more than $69,000 to date. This year’s event, set for Saturday, Jan. 26, will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner served at 7 at the Sonoma Valley Veterans Memorial Building.

The crew will be barbecuing and serving rib-eye steak complimented with a side of large shrimp, salad and a French roll. The meal also includes complimentary red and white wine provided by Don Sebastiani and Sons, New York cheesecakes and coffee.

Live music will be provided by BackTrax. There will also be a live auction, a 50/50 raffle and games throughout the night.

All proceeds will be donated to the Native Son’s high school scholarship fund and other local school programs.

Advanced tickets can be purchased at Steiners Tavern and Eraldi’s Menswear. Tickets cost $40.

For further Information, call Michael Balich at 935-3362.
