Storytelling and the brain discussed
The Sonoma Valley Historical Society will host speaker Kendall Haven on Friday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m.
He will discuss his research on how the human brain responds to story, and the translation of that into the process of effective storytelling for informing, inspiring or education people. He has discovered the first-ever scientific proof that story is hardwired into the human brain. In his career, he has lectured for more than 5 million in 42 states and four countries.
The lecture is free and is located at the Depot Park Museum, one block north of the Plaza. For further inquiries, call 938-1762.
