Sonoma tennis girls top Healdsburg

The Sonoma Valley High School Lady Dragon girls tennis team beat Healdsburg 6-1 on Thursday.
Sonoma’s number one player, Anna Robles, beat Healdsburg’s Emma Linowski, 8-6, 4-6 and 6-2.
Number two Cecilia Montano beat the Greyhounds’ Chiara Nicasto, 6-4 and 6-1.
Michelle Stovall, at number three, beat Julia Pacheco, 6-0, 3-6 and 6-4.
Sonoma’s only loss came at the number four slot as Francesca Stornaiuplo fell to Healdsburg’s Gina Stafford, 6-1 and 6-1.
Sonoma three doubles teams all won with Regina Mellinger and Raquel Rios-Gomes beat Healdsburg’s Bailey Kuebelbeck and Jasmine Ayer, 6-2 and 6-0 in the number one doubles.
The number two doubles team of Annie Morgan and Brooke Slack beat Healdsburg’s number-two team of Olivia Miles and Mia Glenti, 6-3 and 6-2.
The number three doubles team of Jessica Marioni and Hanna Lemaire beat the Hounds’ Mollie Tingle and Daniela Castro, 6-1 and 6-1.
Sonoma has a bye today, but the Dragons are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Forestville for a match with El Molino. Match time is 3:30 p.m.
