Serious health issues with GMO food

Editor, Index-Tribune:

I am voting ‘yes’ on Proposition 37, because I, and many others, would benefit if it passes. There are serious health issues here, and we who have sensitivities and allergies to certain foods, need to know and have to read all labels. If they don’t tell us when these controversial chemicals are in the foods we are buying, that is not fair.?

I have to say, I saw many GMO-free labels at Whole Foods the other day, and I appreciate the effort they are putting in.?

Lots of foods are now labeled, such as dairy-free, gluten-free, wheat-free, soy-free, peanut-free – I could go on.?

I don’t hear of any lawsuits because of those labels, so why would GMO-free labels cause lawsuits??

The small farm owners are the ones that should be filing lawsuits when they try to grow natural crops and then get a drift of Roundup-ready when the wind blows the wrong way. End of that crop. And probably that farm.?

This is simplified, but use your imagination; do we know what might happen to the chemical makeup of our bodies if we ingest any of that stuff??Good luck.
