Savor Sonoma Valley features 21 wineries
The Heart of Sonoma Valley Association (HOSVA) is putting tickets on sale for its premier event of the year: the 23rd annual Savor Sonoma Valley, happening Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17, from 11 to 4 p.m. daily. Twenty-one wineries throughout the Valley will be showcasing the 2012 vintage straight from the barrels, sampling new releases and offering award-winning wines paired with scrumptious food prepared by local chefs and restaurants.
Meet winemakers, taste reserve wines, sample barrel wines, mingle with wine lovers in caves and on crush pads, enjoy live music, tour wineries and vineyards and savor a true Wine Country weekend. Most importantly, this event offers guests the chance to take an advance look at what the 2012 vintage is going to be like in bottle.
“This year marks our 23rd year and we are so excited to be teaming up with local chefs and restaurants to create a truly special weekend of delicious foods paired with the amazing variety of wines produced in our Valley,” said HOSVA Executive Director Josie Gay. “We invite wine lovers out to celebrate the bounty of Sonoma Valley. Twenty-one wineries are participating this year and they are throwing open their cellar doors for this authentic Wine Country experience.”
Participating wineries include: B Wise Vineyards Cellar, Benziger Family Winery, Deerfield Ranch Winery, En Garde Winery, Enkidu Wines, Eric Ross Winery, Imagery Estate Winery, Kaz Winery, Kenwood Vineyards, Ledson Winery and Vineyards, Little Vineyards Family Winery, Loxton Cellars, Mayo Family Winery, Moondance Cellars, Muscardini Cellars, Nakedwines.com Wine Studio and Tasting Lounge, Paradise Ridge Winery, St. Anne's Crossing Winery, Talisman Wines, Ty Caton Vineyards and VJB Vineyards and Cellars.
