Santa arrives on a firetruck

Santa made his grand entrance Saturday at Sonoma Raceway’s annual Race to the Holidays Christmas Party Saturday. About 300 Valley children from the Boys & Girls Club, WillMar Family Grief and Healing Center, La Luz, FISH and the Sonoma Valley Teen Center received presents. In addition to the presents, the children and their families sang carols, received balloon animals, saw a car display and were treated to lunch. The presents were collected from Sonoma Raceway, the Sonoma Valley Fire and Rescue, Schell-Vista Fire Department, Sonoma Index-Tribune, Sonoma Valley Sun, Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Redwood Credit Union.
