Sandra J. Miccio, nee Stewart, 71, of Sonoma, died on Sept. 21, 2012, at home surrounded by her family and lifelong friends. She was the daughter of the late Helen and Clifford Stewart. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Joseph D. Miccio; her brother, Robert L. Stewart and family; adored mother of John J. Miles and Jennifer A Miles; stepmother of Debra Miccio Franchi and Christine Miccio Thorp; adored grandmother of seven.

  Sandy was a graduate of South Lake High School, class of 1958. She worked at the state capitol in Lansing, Mich., as a legal secretary for more than 10 years. She eventually moved to California in 1973, and settled in the Bay Area. Sandy and her husband, Joe, acquired the popular B&B, The Trojan Horse in Sonoma and ran the business for 10 years. She was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in San Rafael for many years. She was a 15-year resident of Sonoma and an active member Sonoma Creekside community.

  Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Duggan’s Mission Chapel, on Friday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. Private inurnment. Donations to Hospice By The Bay or the American Cancer Society.

Dearest Joe and Family Mere words cannot express the sorrow Dennis and myself share with you and your family over the loss of Sandy.May the memories you all shared together as a family live on in your lives forever.May Sandy's many friends know she is indeed in a better place and free from pain and suffering.May Sandy once again see her lost loved ones and be greeted again by her array of furry four legged friends who have also departed this life and are awaiting with wagging tails her arrivial at their "Rainbow Bridge.Sandy,until we meet again dear friend Love Aunt Tish and Hubby Dennis Bowden September 24th Two thousand twelve
