Well, it was another (hot) busy social weekend in the Valley of the Moon. We were more than happy to be able to attend Pets Lifeline’s Tailwags and Handbags fundraising luncheon at ESTATE restaurant. A hot afternoon surrounded by lovely ladies, including Carol Martin, Carol Sebastiani (Sotheby’s International), bidding on purses all in support of our best friends and pets. The sparkling wine helped us all deal with the heat and made the bidding more fun. The afternoon ended with a delicious vegetarian meal.

The next day we headed over to the Hanna Boys Center for their Annual Evening with the All-Stars; a ribbon-cutting event for their new Multi-Use Auditorium and the Alumni/Admissions Building. There, Holly Bennett (Sotheby’s International) and other guests gathered to partake in a welcoming reception and silent auction. A clear tent was erected to accommodate the seat down dinner crowd and live auction. Again we will blame the heat for an enthusiastic and lively competition for all the auction items.

The weekend closed with Sonoma GayDar’s Supper Club event at Café 522. Tables were filled with foodies and music lovers. Daniel Casabonne (Frank Howard Allen), Dan Gallagher (Wine Country Group), Brooks Rumph (Mission Hills Mortgage) and Donald Van de Mark (Sotheby’s International) joined the full house. All gathered to hear Stephan Stubbings sing and play the piano. A preview of the much anticipated Broadway Under the Stars concert series in Jack London State Park this summer.
