SONOMA LIFE - Prom Night & Transcendence

The Glen Ellen Hills came alive with the sounds of music and dance (of course there was plenty of food and wine too) for two very unique events.

Our first stop was Benziger Winery for their annual Sonoma Harvest Wine Auction Party Lot. The theme this year was “Prom Night”, guests went all the way out to make sure that this was their best Prom ever. The ladies were all dressed up and ready to party, including: Kelly Stober (Pacific Union International), Kathleen Leonard (Alain Pinel Realtors) and Gayle Arrowood (Opes Advisors) looking simply glamorous in a “red-carpet” worthy gown. Of course, a Queen (in a 70’s dress) and King (in a baby blue tuxedo) were crowned - a great evening under the stars with exquisite wines and fun people, all for worthy causes. Cheers!  

Next we climbed higher up the hill to the Jack London Park for the Transcendence Theatre Co.’s opening night of “Broadway Under The Stars” concert series. The beautiful setting welcomed attendees to picnic before the performance. The sun was setting as the show started and the park was filled with beautiful music and wonderful lyrics. Bill Dardon, Anne Petersen (Sonoma Valley Realty Co.), Wanda McAleese (Coldwell Banker Brokers of the Valley), joined a full house in witnessing world-class talent sing and dance their hearts out for a very appreciating audience and to support the historic park. Encore!
