One Last Polka at the Little Switzerland
Little Switzerland is not just a building, it's a landmark - having been providing entertainment and libations for longer than most of us can remember.
Residents and visitors came together for the last polka dance on a lovely Sunday. Despite the pending closure, the mood of the evening was uplifting and celebratory as guests gathered to bid farewell to a treasured venue. Singing, dancing, cake-eating, and champagne toasting were all apart of this heartfelt weekend hosted by Alina Garcia, her family and her staff at Little Switzerland.
The Garcias over the last decade have been kind enough to host all sorts of events and musical talents, but one of their most popular attractions was always the weekly polka nights.
We joined friends, Annette Casabonne, Daniel Casabonne (Frank Howard Allen) Angela Sabatino, Corey Sabatino, Tannia Summers, and families, Matt Sevenau (Alain Pinel Realtors), wife Brooke Sevenau, their son and daughter, for a fantastic, never-to-be-forgotten goodbye - and we can all be assured that the influence and memories of 'Lil Swiss will be long passed down through future generations of Sonomans.
Till we meet again!
