We where delighted to accept the invitation to attend a reception to welcome Rick Corcoran as the new General Manager of the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa; a place where we are always happy to visit. David Burt, Michelle Heston, and other staff members made the proper introductions and entertained their guests who included: Eva Bertran (Gloria Ferrer Winery), Danny Fay (Envolve Winery), Ken Fischang (Sonoma Country Tourism Bureau) in their usual FSMI style.

Thank you Harmony Plenty (Sonoma Valley Hospital Foundation) for reminding us to attend the groundbreaking celebration for the new Emergency and Surgery Care Centers at the Sonoma Valley Hospital campus. Also “millions”, make that $3 million, of thanks to Gary and Marcia Nelson for the generous gift to this project. We may not look forward to go to the emergency room any time soon, but what a relief will be to have state of the art facilities to take care of residents and visitors alike when needed.  Bob and Carolyn Stone, Dr. Robbie Cohen, Bob Kowel (Sotheby’s International), Elvin Case (Coldwell Banker Brokers of the Valley) were among the attendees there to witness this historic event.
