SONOMA LIFE - Feast of the Olive

Feb 1, 2012 - 12:24 PM

Sonoma Life

You want to know a secret? The best way to our heart is food, and the best way to do this is to invite us to the Feast of the Olive Dinner at Ramekins Culinary School.

Where else can newcomers, visitors and residents of Sonoma Valley have an opportunity to savor the cooking of 18 of our local chefs and enjoy the product of numerous winemakers?

We ate, we drank, the basked in the glow of candles, tasted olive oils, visited with our tablemates. Welcomed visitors from near and far, and counted our lucky stars for living in Sonoma and being a part of this delectable experience.

Thanks to all the participating chefs:  Manuel Azevedo, Chef La Salette; Andrew Cain, Chef de Cuisine Santé; Carlo Cavallo, Chef Meritage; Sheana Davis, Chef The Epicurean Connection; Cheesemaker Gary Edwards; Antonio Ghilarducci, Chef Depot Hotel; Dana Jaffe, Executive Chef Saddles; Lisa Lavagetto, Chef Ramekins; Jeffrey Lloyd, Executive ChefCafe La Haye; Doug MacFarland, Executive Chef Ramekins; Armando Navarro, Executive Chef El Dorado Kitchen; Norm Owens, Chef Hot Box Grill; Jason Rose, Executive Chef Ram's Gate Winery; Erin Smith, Chef de Cuisine the girl & the fig;  Bruno Tison, Executive Chef Santé; John Toulze, Executive Chef the girl & the fig; Brian West, Chef de Cuisine ESTATE; and  Andrew Wilson, Chef The Lodge at Sonoma.
