Reserve now for ‘Vintage Evening’

Nov 1, 2012 - 04:55 PM

Vintage House once again kicks off Sonoma’s festive holiday social season with its gala “A Vintage Evening” event on Saturday, Nov. 17.

Board President Byron Nichols and Vintage House Executive Director Cynthia Scarborough invite the community to join in for an elegant evening on the town featuring fine wines from Charles Creek and Madrone Ridge wineries, luxurious dining from Park Avenue Catering and entertainment from chanteuse Sheila Whitney and piano man John Simon and friends.

The opening reception from 6 to 6:50 p.m. features a signature cocktail along with mixed drinks and wine paired with hors d’oeuvres from Park Avenue Catering.

Then it’s on to a three-course dinner featuring filet mignon or wild mushroom ravioli, a short presentation on Vintage House services and a short program of songs followed by dancing until 10 p.m. In lieu of a silent auction, a limited number of “buy-in” opportunities in support of Vintage House programs will be available to guests and are currently available for preview on the Vintage House website at vintagehouse.org.

Seating at $200 a person is limited to the first 130 to reserve, so call 996-0311 or email info@vintagehouse.org now to request an invitation or to make reservations.

Vintage House, located at 264 First St. E. in Sonoma, offers a variety of resources to match the evolving needs and interests of Sonoma’s 55-plus population.
