Remembering Newtown victims

Six Valley churches rang their bells at 9:30 a.m. Friday and read the names of the victims of the Newtown, Conn. school massacre. At St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, David Irvine, director of worship, rang the bell while Pastor Rich Gantenbein and school superintendent Louann Carlomagno read the names. The participating churches included St. Andrew, Sonoma Valley Community Church, Glen Ellen Community Church, the First Congregational Church, Sonoma United Methodist Church and Trinity Episcopal Church.
