Parisian auction lot to aid B&G Clubs
Although this year’s Moulin Rouge themed Sweetheart Gala and Auction is sold out, Sonoma Valley Boys & Girls Clubs supporters can still participate in the event buy bidding in the auction.
This year’s auction offers an opportunity for only 10 lucky bidders, who will get an invitation to “Paris When it Sizzled,” a gift from Anya Ushakova-Crain of the Muse Salon Series. Evoking Parisian salons from the era of Coco Chanel, Édith Piaf, Marcel Proust, Marlene Dietrich, Pablo Picasso and Jean Cocteau on March 2 at the home of John and Deborah Emery, the 2013 sweethearts.
The day includes a French continental breakfast, bistro lunch, reception and an exquisitely luscious Parisian dinner by candlelight. Lunch and dinner will be prepared by Chef Catherine Venturini of Olive and Vine Restaurant.
Wines will be provided by Hanzell Vineyards and Domaine Chandon, tended by sommelier John Burdick. ?
Attendees will learn “How To Live Your Sensuous Life,” a workshop designed and led by Ushakova-Crain.
Guests will be treated to a private musical performance by Parisian inspired musician Michel Michelis of Rue Manouche, the French cabaret and gypsy jazz ensemble. Guests will receive a special gift from Festival del Sole, Napa Valley for, VIP pass for the July 13 Taste of Napa, a private, invitation-only event?the showcases local artisan foods and wines, culminating with an evening concert at Lincoln Theatre in Yountville featuring Russian National Orchestra with classical pianist, soloist Jean-Yves Thibaudet.
