Olive workshop set

Don Landis, a noted expert on olive curing, will offer another free olive curing workshop on Sunday, Feb. 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the B.R. Cohn Winery.

  Landis will talk about the history of the olive, the history of the olive in California and a thorough description of the Greek style of olive curing without the use of lye. A tasting of olives with cheese and crackers is included.
