Frank Sinatra’s timeless ballad, “My Way” was how our beloved mother, grandmother and friend lived her life. Olga Lydia Gammon passed away peacefully among the love of her family on Oct. 4, 2012, on a beautiful early fall day. She was born Aug. 24, 1930, to Italian immigrants, Adolfo and Lucia DeFaveri in Detroit, Mich.
A viewing will be held Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 11600 Atwood Road, Auburn, followed by a funeral Mass at noon. Burial will take place at Palm Downtown Cemetery, 1325 N. Main Street, Las Vegas, Nev., at a later date.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. at the home of Thomas and Janice Bordigioni, 1515 Wood Duck Lane, Meadow Vista, following the funeral Mass.
