Ode to Sonoma

  Love my Sonoma, yes I do,

  Kathleen Hill and Ken Brown too!

  Can’t stand the bike lane on Fifth Street West,

  Jean at the Swiss sure is the best!

  I like the idea of the Anderson’s new hotel downtown,

  Can’t stand the fountain on the Plaza that’s round.

  I treasure the bagel lady – ain’t Angela her name?

  Love the new Wine Trolley – the original so they claim!

  Let’s light the rest of Highway 12 I say,

  Let’s welcome people, straight or gay!

  Loved the jazz festival though it had no jazz!

  Cuclis versus Sanders? Just had to razz!

  Said my prayers for Austin Ridge,

  I hope they save the Watmaugh Bridge.

  I love this town I surely do,

  Thanks Sonoma for being YOU!
