Nicaraguan dinner to aid Seeds of Learning
The Community Café in Sonoma is helping Valley students fund their trip to Nicaragua via the nonprofit Seeds of Learning.
A festive, themed meal will take place on Thursday, Feb. 28, from 6 to
7:30 p.m.
Chef Margie Brooks will prepare Nicaraguan chicken, gallo pinto, green salad and dessert. A glass of wine or lemonade is included with the meal. The cost is $25 and tickets are available at the door or ahead of time by calling Judy Frey-Cohen at 217-6390.
Proceeds from the night will help the students fund their service trip to Nicaragua, where they will help an impoverished community.
