Marguerette A. Weil

  Marguerette A. Weil, 91, died at home in Sonoma surrounded by her family on Nov. 20, 2012. She was the wife for 67 years of the late Raymond John Weil; adored mother of Carol (Loren) Wicklund of Windsor, Mary Whippo, Roger (Shirley) Weil, Phyllis (Grant) Barnett, all of Sonoma. Idolized grandmother of 10, known to her grandchildren as “Blue”; great-grandmother of 8 and great-great-grandmother of 1. She was the dear sister of Mary Lucille Boitano (John) of Sonoma; Rita Bressem (Bob) of Colusa and Marianne Campos (Jeff) of Shingle Springs.

  Marguerette was very proud of the fact that she was the matriarch of five generations.

  She was a dedicated homemaker. She hosted and enjoyed family gatherings for all and any occasion. She enjoyed traveling back to West Virginia to visit her roots and trips to her cabin in the Sierras .She was a resident of Sonoma for 56 years.

  No formal services will be held per her request. Donations to the charity of your choice are preferred.
